This article begins bordering on being yet another Bitcoin obit, however the buried message is that Bitcoin is not dead or dying rather lost it's original intended use case.

I disagree, the dream is hardly dead, it's used as a backbone for other more modern cryptocurrencies and a "gateway drug" to more modern solutions.

Don't worry, the "Dream" is alive and well. ;)
